Sean Strickland continues to make headlines, this time for a dominant sparring performance against a social media personality. The former UFC Middleweight Champion recently engaged in a sparring session with content creator Nick Nayersina at Xtreme Couture in Las Vegas.
A brief clip of the spar was shared online by Nayersina. As many anticipated, the session proved to be a challenging experience for the content creator.
The footage circulating online shows Strickland landing a variety of strikes, including punches, kicks, knees, and elbows. Despite facing the intensity of the professional fighter, Nayersina demonstrated commendable resilience by remaining in the sparring session.
In his professional career, Strickland recently returned to the win column, securing a victory over Paulo Costa at UFC 302 in June. This followed his championship loss to Dricus du Plessis at UFC 297 in January 2024. Strickland initially captured the middleweight title in September 2023 with a significant upset victory over Israel Adesanya, whom he convincingly defeated over five rounds at UFC 293.
