Sinner Achieves Rare Streak, Joins Exclusive Company

World number one Jannik Sinner secured a dominant victory over world number seven Casper Ruud in the quarterfinals of the Rome tournament, defeating him comprehensively with a score of 6/0, 6/1.

This impressive win means Sinner has now won 24 consecutive sets against opponents ranked in the Top 10. The historical record for this specific statistic is held by John McEnroe, who achieved 28 straight sets against Top 10 players.

Furthermore, Sinner`s victory makes him only the fifth male player in the 21st century to achieve a winning streak of 25 matches or more. The other members of this exclusive club are tennis legends Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, and Andy Murray.
