The semifinal match at the Rome Masters tournament is currently underway, featuring Italy`s Jannik Sinner and American Tommy Paul.
The first set concluded with an unexpected victory for Paul, who won 6-1. However, in the second set, Sinner staged a convincing comeback, securing a dominant 6-0 win (a “bagel”) over his opponent.
The second set lasted 31 minutes, while the first set took 29 minutes.
The Rome Masters is Sinner`s first tournament appearance since completing a three-month disqualification for an anti-doping rule violation. The winner of this match against Paul will advance to the final to play Spain`s Carlos Alcaraz.
