Tennis World Mourns Juan Aguilera, First Spanish Masters Winner

Former world No. 7 and winner of five ATP tournaments, Juan Aguilera, has passed away on Tuesday, March 25th, at the age of 64. According to reports from La Razon, cancer was the cause of death.

Aguilera made history as the first Spanish player to clinch a Masters title. His victory came in 1990 at the Hamburg Masters, where he defeated German tennis star Boris Becker in the final (6-1, 6-0, 7-6(3)).

The tennis community also mourns the loss of Fred Stolle, a 19-time Grand Slam champion.
