World No. 56 Spanish player Jaume Munar shared his thoughts on defeating world No. 8 Russian player Daniil Medvedev (6/2, 6/3) in the second round of the Miami Masters.
“This means a lot. I feel great after all the work I’ve done to compete in such a tournament. I feel very comfortable here, and I’m playing great on hard courts this year. It was a bit tense at the end, but I’m happy with my performance.”
“I’ve changed a lot: technique, tactics. This year, everything is working very well. I think I need to continue improving to keep changing things. To see where my game can improve, and I think my team and I are doing this very well,” Munar said, according to the ATP website.
