Tom Aspinall Taunts Jon Jones at UFC London

Tom Aspinall was enjoying UFC London but found time to take a shot at Jon Jones.

During the broadcast on Saturday, Aspinall was seen in the audience. The world`s top heavyweight contender initially looked serious, but then suddenly held up a duck toy and made a wide-eyed expression to the camera. Aspinall`s duck is clearly a jab at Jones, who seems hesitant to agree to a fight with Aspinall.

Jones is the current UFC heavyweight champion, having won the vacant title by defeating Ciryl Gane after Francis Ngannou left in 2023, and defended it against Stipe Miocic at UFC 309.

When the Jones-Miocic fight was postponed from UFC 295, Aspinall stepped in and beat Sergei Pavlovich for the interim title. He defended this interim title against Curtis Blaydes at UFC 304. Although Aspinall has said he is ready to defend his belt against anyone, he keeps pushing for a fight with Jones.

UFC CEO Dana White is also optimistic about booking the unification fight, recently telling TNT Sports, “It’s just a matter of when now, getting it signed and done.”
