Tony Ferguson vs. Dillon Danis, and Other Fights Announced for GFL Doubleheader in May

The Global Fight League has officially announced their first two events, a two-night spectacle in Los Angeles this May.

GFL revealed the event details and fight lineups via a press release on Monday, confirming their debut events will take place on May 24 and 25 at the Shrine Auditorium. The announcement stated that all six teams – Los Angeles, New York, London, Dubai, São Paulo, and Miami – will participate in a total of 31 bouts across two days, encompassing ten different weight classes. The league boasts these events will present the most unique and diverse fight cards in MMA history.

The fight card for May 24 includes MMA trilogy bouts between Urijah Faber and Renan Barao, and Anthony Pettis and Benson Henderson.

The May 25 event is headlined by a highly anticipated matchup between former UFC interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson and Dillon Danis, and will also feature the MMA comeback of former UFC fighter Paige VanZant.

Currently, GFL has not disclosed where fans can watch the events, but the press release indicates an announcement regarding broadcast details is expected in April.
