UFC 314 Main Card Updated: Reyes vs. Krylov to Kick Off PPV

The lineup for the UFC 314 main card has been revised due to Geoff Neal`s injury, which led to the cancellation of his bout with Carlos Prates.

While Carlos Prates will now headline UFC Kansas City against Ian Machado Garry in the coming weeks, UFC 314, scheduled for Saturday, quickly found a compelling replacement to open the pay-per-view.

Dominick Reyes, a two-time light heavyweight title challenger with recent back-to-back knockout victories, will now face Nikita Krylov in an exciting light heavyweight clash at 205 pounds. Both Reyes and Krylov are known for their finishing abilities, promising an explosive start to UFC 314.

Adding to the excitement, former Bellator champion Patricio Pitbull will make his highly anticipated debut in the octagon against Yair Rodriguez in a crucial featherweight contest. Pitbull has long desired to compete against the UFC`s elite, and he now faces a formidable challenge in Rodriguez this Saturday.

Also featured on the main card is Jean Silva, who will take on Bryce Mitchell in a fight expected to deliver action both inside and outside the cage. A rivalry has developed between these two, and they will aim to settle their differences at UFC 314.

The co-main event will see the return of Michael Chandler as he presents Paddy Pimblett with the toughest challenge of his UFC career. The popular Liverpool fighter will attempt to overcome the always-thrilling Chandler to climb the lightweight rankings.

The main event of the evening remains the featherweight title fight between Alexander Volkanovski and Diego Lopes. They will compete for the vacant belt after Ilia Topuria relinquished the title to move to the lightweight division.
