Ilia Topuria is set to attempt to make history at UFC 317, scheduled for June 28.

The former UFC featherweight champion aims to become the latest fighter to hold titles in two weight classes as he takes on Charles Oliveira. They will compete for the vacant UFC lightweight championship in the headline bout of the upcoming UFC pay-per-view event, which will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Reports indicate that former UFC champion Islam Makhachev has moved from the lightweight division to pursue a title in the welterweight category.

Topuria, who recently secured a knockout win over Max Holloway in his first and only featherweight title defense, boasts a perfect professional record with 16 consecutive victories. Charles Oliveira has been victorious in three of his last five fights contested for a title.

In the co-main event, Alexandre Pantoja will look to defend his UFC flyweight title for the fourth consecutive time. He is scheduled to face Kai Kara-France. Pantoja is currently on a strong run with seven straight wins, while Kara-France has won three out of his last five bouts.
