UFC is deepening its connection with Meta, as Dana White expands his relationship with Mark Zuckerberg`s company.
TKO Group Holding announced a long-term partnership between UFC and Meta, naming Meta as the “official fan technology partner” of UFC.
According to the announcement, Meta will collaborate with UFC, utilizing Meta`s platforms, services, and products like Meta AI, Meta Glasses, Meta Quest, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Threads. The goal is to create more immersive experiences for UFC fans.
Meta will also become the “Official AI Glasses Partner of UFC,” exploring creative uses for AI glasses at UFC events.
Dana White and Mark Zuckerberg have developed a strong relationship over the years, with Zuckerberg frequently attending UFC events and White joining Meta`s board of directors in January.
This business relationship is already showing results with the new partnership. White announced on social media that Meta will assist in developing a new fighter ranking system, planned for launch before the end of 2025.
White stated that they have started working with Meta on a new fighter ranking system to be launched later this year. He also mentioned using Meta`s AI glasses to capture UFC content and promised exciting innovations for UFC fans in the coming years.
Zuckerberg expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating his love for the sport and his anticipation to collaborate with UFC to create new fan experiences.
