Jean Silva continues to be a highly effective finisher in mixed martial arts.
Following his impressive ninja choke submission victory over Bryce Mitchell at UFC 314 in April, which brought his UFC record to a perfect 5-0 with five finishes, Jean “Lord” Silva apparently developed a liking for submissions. He recently added a unique entry to his record by choking out a fan at a recent event in Brazil.
Attending a Muay Thai event over the weekend, the UFC`s No. 11 featherweight contender interacted with attendees, posing for pictures and chatting. During these interactions, a fan specifically asked Silva to choke him. Taking the request seriously, “Lord” applied a rear-naked choke and maintained the hold until the fan lost consciousness, even after the fan began tapping out. Silva recorded the entire incident and shared it on his YouTube channel.
Upon releasing the choke, Silva gently lowered the fan, who promptly regained awareness. Getting back on his feet, the fan initially appeared disoriented but soon broke into a smile and laughter, embracing Silva. One of Silva`s friends humorously commented to the fan, “This guy isn`t just aggressive, he`s also completely out of it!” They shared a laugh before Silva continued mingling with other fans.
