Honored Russian coach Viktor Yanchuk expressed confidence that 21-year-old Russian tennis player Diana Shnaider will soon enter the WTA Top 5 rankings. Shnaider recently achieved a personal best ranking this week, climbing to world number 11.
“Shnaider is one of our most promising tennis players. She has already achieved significant success in doubles with Mirra Andreeva, plays strong singles matches, and challenges the world`s leading players. She has tremendous potential, and I believe she will be in the world`s top five shortly. Being a left-hander makes her an awkward opponent, and she possesses very sharp, potent shots,” said Yanchuk.
