Viktor Yanchuk, a respected Russian coach, commented on Daniil Medvedev`s current slump in form. He noted that Medvedev will drop out of the Top 10 of the world rankings due to the results of the Miami Masters.
Yanchuk believes that both Medvedev and Rublev are currently not playing their best tennis. Despite Rublev recently winning a tournament, Medvedev has not yet achieved such success. However, Yanchuk believes that Daniil will return to a high level, although he is currently experiencing a prolonged slump.
Speaking about the prospects for Grand Slam tournaments, Yanchuk acknowledged that Medvedev`s chances of winning have decreased, but they still exist. He is confident that in optimal shape, Medvedev is capable of performing successfully at ATP tournaments and will still show his best qualities. Yanchuk urges not to write him off yet.
