WTA Champion Race: Alexandrova Moves Up to 8th, Andreeva Enters Top 3

The Women`s Tennis Association (WTA) has updated its WTA Champion Race rankings following last week`s tournaments. Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus continues to lead the race. Madison Keys from the USA, the Australian Open champion, is in second place, and Russian player Mirra Andreeva holds the third position.

Notably, another Russian player, Ekaterina Alexandrova, has climbed from 12th to eighth place in the WTA Champion Race this week. This improvement is due to her reaching the semi-finals of the WTA 500 tournament in Stuttgart, Germany. In the semi-final match, Alexandrova was defeated by Jelena Ostapenko, who went on to win the tournament.
