Russian biathlete Olga Zaitseva has commented on the news of tennis player Daria Kasatkina changing her sporting citizenship.
It was recently announced that Kasatkina has officially changed her sports nationality and will now compete for Australia.
When asked about this decision, Zaitseva stated, “Kasatkina has gone to where she feels is best for her. It is her choice and her right. Who am I to judge or criticize? Speaking for myself, I have always represented Russia and never changed my citizenship. This is my homeland.”
